The DDA is preparing to unveil a housing scheme during the festive season, around Diwali, offering over 30,000 apartments of various categories, including penthouses, SHIG (super high-income group) flats, and more affordable options. These apartments are located in areas like Dwarka, Narela, Vasant Kunj, among others, according to sources familiar with the development.

The housing scheme is anticipated to be launched on a “first come, first served” basis around Diwali, as per sources.

    Locations

The apartments offered under this scheme will be available in Narela, Dwarka (sectors 19B and 14), Vasant Kunj, Rohini, and Lok Nayak Puram. Additional locations may be included when the scheme is formally launched.

    Categories of Flats

The housing scheme is set to encompass flats of all categories, spanning from premium apartments to those designed for the economically weaker section (EWS). These categories include SHIG (super high-income group), HIG (high-income group), MIG (middle-income group), LIG (low-income group), and EWS.

    Number of Flats

It is expected that the DDA will offer approximately 32,000 flats of various categories. However, sources note that the number of flats available for sale may be adjusted at the time of the official launch. Within the scheme, about 14 luxury penthouses in Dwarka (sector 19B) are expected to be offered, along with around 170 luxury apartments in the SHIG category.

In Narela, over 5,000 EWS flats are likely to be available. The scheme will also offer around 2,000 MIG flats and 1,600 HIG apartments. In Lok Nayak Puram, approximately 600 MIG flats and 200 EWS flats will be accessible. In sector 19B, Dwarka, more than 700 EWS flats and 900 MIG flats will be available. Additional flats are currently being prepared and may be offered in the Narela and Rohini areas.

    Prices

According to sources, the starting prices for SHIG flats are expected to be around Rs 3 crore, while HIG apartments may be priced at approximately Rs 2.50 crore. The prices for MIG flats are projected to range between Rs 1-1.3 crore. EWS flats are expected to be sold within the range of Rs 11 to 14 lakh, whereas LIG flats may be priced between Rs 15 to 30 lakh. The final prices of the apartments could be subject to change at the time of the official launch.
