Brigade Group to Develop Third World Trade Center Tower in Kochi

    We are thrilled to announce that the Brigade Group, a leading real estate giant headquartered in Bengaluru, has embarked on an ambitious project to develop the third tower of the prestigious World Trade Center (WTC) at Infopark Kochi, as reported by Hindustan Times this new addition promises to be a significant milestone in the landscape of Kerala’s IT sector, bolstering economic growth and providing state-of-the-art facilities to businesses.

    Project Overview

    A Tower of Modern Excellence

    The new World Trade Center tower at Infopark Kochi will stand tall with 16 storeys, inclusive of six decks dedicated to car parking. The total built-up area for this impressive structure will be 2.6 lakh square feet. This project, valued at ₹150 crores, is set to be developed on a non-SEZ (Special Economic Zone) plot and is anticipated to be completed within three years.

    Commitment to Growth

    The Brigade Group, renowned for its substantial contributions to real estate, has already developed two fully occupied WTC towers at Infopark Kochi, encompassing a combined built-up area of 7.7 lakh square feet. The successful occupancy of these towers highlights the robust demand for premium office spaces in the region.

    Strategic Expansion

    Strengthening Kerala’s IT Infrastructure

    With the launch of the third WTC tower, Brigade Group continues to demonstrate its commitment to enhancing Kerala’s IT infrastructure. The addition of this tower is expected to catalyze further development within Infopark and contribute significantly to the overall IT sector growth in the state. Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan acknowledged this during the land lease agreement signing ceremony, emphasizing that since 2016, Infopark has seen the establishment of 583 new companies, generating 70,000 jobs.

    Beyond Kochi: Expanding Horizons

    Brigade Group’s expansion is not limited to Kochi. The company is also developing Brigade Square in Trivandrum, a Grade A office building in Technopark Phase 1, and has ambitious plans to launch 15 million square feet of projects in Chennai by 2030, with an investment of ₹8000 crores. Additionally, Brigade has developed the luxury business hotel Four Points by Sheraton Kochi Infopark, situated in Phase 1 of the Infopark campus.
