The Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) will soon roll out a new online platform aimed at transforming the way residents purchase its flats and villas, as reported by The Economic Times.
The website, expected to launch by the end of the month, will enable prospective buyers to explore residential units through 3D virtual walkthroughs. It will also display detailed information such as pricing, availability, parking facilities, application deadlines, and payment schedules.
With the exception of the final registration at the Sub-Registrar’s office, every other step in the home-buying process — from submitting applications and documents to making payments and receiving ownership certificates — can be completed online.
Previously, BDA’s digital interface allowed only basic bookings with limited information. The new platform will offer enhanced features, including videos, comprehensive specifications for each unit, and real-time availability updates.
Buyers will have up to 180 days to complete the registration process. Those who register within 90 days will not incur interest charges, while delays beyond that period will result in interest penalties.
Officials said the upgrade aims to eliminate bureaucratic delays and improve efficiency, making the property-buying experience more accessible and user-friendly for home seekers.
