The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) decided to not change the interest rates. This means they are keeping things the same for borrowers who take loans for buying homes. Real estate experts say this decision will help people buying houses feel more confident and give them some relief.

The RBI’s decision shows that they believe in India’s economy and its growth. It also means that people who pay monthly installments for their loans won’t see any sudden changes in what they have to pay.

The RBI had increased interest rates five times before this decision, but now they have not changed it. This makes people hopeful about the year ahead. Even though the interest rates have not changed, they are still at the highest they have been in the past four years.

Experts in real estate think this decision will keep the housing market going strong. Anuj Puri, from ANAROCK Group, thinks that because interest rates are staying the same, it’s a good time for people to buy homes without worrying about sudden changes in costs.

According to ANAROCK Research, home prices in the top seven cities have gone up by around 8 to 18 percent in the past year. But with the interest rates staying stable, it might give some relief to people buying homes.

Manoj Gaur, from Gaurs Group, thinks that this decision by RBI is good for the housing market. He says that people are interested in buying homes, especially the more expensive ones. The RBI keeping the interest rates the same for seven times in a row shows that things will stay stable and that’s good for the housing market.

Mohit Jain, from Krisumi Corporation, thinks the RBI’s decision is like a break from increasing home loan rates. This means people who pay monthly for their home loans won’t suddenly have to pay more.

In simple words, the RBI’s decision to keep things as they are is seen as good news for people wanting to buy homes. It helps them feel more confident about buying homes without worrying too much about sudden changes in costs.
