DLF Targets INR 400 Crore in Revenue with Launch of 92 Luxury Independent Floors in Gurugram

    DLF, a prominent player in the real estate industry, has unveiled a new collection of 92 luxury independent floors in Gurugram, with the anticipation of garnering close to INR 400 crore in revenue from their sales, according to Aakash Ohri, the company’s Joint Managing Director and Chief Business Officer. These luxurious residential offerings come in a range of sizes spanning from 2400 to 3100 square feet.

    Mr. Ohri disclosed, “The company is launching 92 independent floors in Gurugram, situated on corner plots, with prices ranging from INR 4 to INR 5 crore, and we anticipate generating INR 400 crore in sales revenue”, as per Moneycontrol.

    He further elaborated that DLF has already achieved significant success in the independent floors segment since 2020, with approximately INR 8000 crore in sales. “We have launched and sold independent floors worth nearly INR 7,650 crore in Gurugram and the Chandigarh tri-city region, comprising Chandigarh, Mohali, and Panchkula,” Mr. Ohri stated. He also revealed plans for two high-rise projects in Gurgaon scheduled for release in the third and fourth quarters.

    Regarding the demographics of buyers, Mr. Ohri noted that they primarily belong to the age group of 35 to 45 years, with connections to schools or workplaces in Gurugram. He added, “Independent floors are also appealing to individuals aged 50 to 60 years, often families deciding to purchase floors in Gurugram after selling their ancestral properties in Delhi.”

    In the financial year 2022-23, DLF recorded sales bookings amounting to INR 15,058 crore, marking a significant increase compared to the previous year’s INR 7,273 crore. The company has set a target of INR 13,000 crore in sales bookings for the 2023-24 financial year.
