Noida International Airport (NIA) has signed a strategic agreement with the Department of State Transport, Haryana, to provide direct bus connectivity from the airport to major cities in Haryana, as published by NDTV.

The collaboration will offer passengers seamless access to destinations such as Palwal, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Kurukshetra, Chandigarh, Hisar, Narnaul, Panipat, and Ambala from the airport’s commercial opening.

In a statement, the airport management said the partnership marks a significant step in enhancing regional connectivity and aligns with NIA’s commitment to delivering a seamless travel experience for passengers.

“This collaboration will seamlessly integrate air and road transport, offering a smooth, efficient travel experience for passengers,” said an Additional Director from the Department of State Transport (Haryana Roadways).

Christoph Schnellmann, CEO of Noida International Airport, emphasized the airport’s focus on connectivity as it evolves into a major regional hub. “As NIA develops, seamless connectivity remains a top priority. We are working closely with government authorities to ensure smooth access for private vehicles and are building partnerships to offer diverse public transportation options,” Schnellmann said.

Noida International Airport is being developed in four phases. In its first phase, the airport will feature a single runway and terminal, capable of handling 12 million passengers annually. Once fully completed in the fourth phase, the airport will have the capacity to accommodate 70 million passengers per year, establishing it as a key aviation hub in the region.
